Gili Trawangan — Est. 2016
Daily boats to the best sites around Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air, with a local guide and never more than four divers per group.
Gili Trawangan’s best-known site: a series of sloping ridges off the west side of the island, with a sandy channel at depth. Reef sharks are often seen resting near the bottom, and the shallows are good for turtles. Currents can pick up, so it’s dived as a drift.

A gentle hard-coral slope off Gili Meno that lives up to its name. Green and hawksbill turtles are regulars here, feeding on the reef and resting in the shallows. Usually calm, which makes it a favourite for newer divers.

A sloping reef on the north-east corner of Gili Trawangan, usually dived as an easy drift. Healthy table corals, big schools of fish in the blue, and turtles along the edge.

The remains of an old pier platform off Gili Meno, now heavily overgrown with coral. Frogfish, scorpionfish and lionfish hide in the structure, and it’s shallow enough for Open Water divers.

A gentle wall along the north-west of Gili Meno, with overhangs full of macro life. A good second dive: relaxed, colourful, and usually sheltered.

Ridges of coral off the south-west of Gili Trawangan, named for the manta rays that pass through in season. The regulars are turtles, bumphead parrotfish and the occasional reef shark.
